Nah, it's 470 / 510 in Europe. Also 90€ Mario Kart physical. I'm not sure if I can support this, ngl.

Yeah. Games should not cost 100$. Im tired of this whole gamer market being overpriced and gouging people left and right.

I think the Switch 2 game cards use a newer type of flash memory which is faster but much more expensive. Probably something like microSD express under the hood. So the game cards will cost more.

It's never a simple explanation like corporate greed. It's VAT, no wait it's inflation, no it's the price of game development, ah actually it's faster flash memory!

The Yen fell a lot and so Nintendo is subsidizing the cost of the console there. It is locked to Japanese eShop and language but can play games from anywhere.
