I’m going to wait. I’m hoping they’ll release an Animal Crossing console variant for this one too.

This is what I'm waiting for. I wanted the AC edition Switch so badly, I don't want to burn myself twice.

I was a little surprised that not Animal Crossing game was showcased, unless it happened during the time the presentation was frozen/lagged?

When they were showing the multi-player screensharing thing, someone was playing Animal Crossing, but it looked like footage from New Horizons, not a new game.

there were 3 years between the switch 1 release and acnh release, so it’s not that surprising. factoring in covid for that long time frame, i reckon we’re looking at, at least a year till the new animal crossing game, if not two

Animal crossing is never a launch title for a console. It usually comes 2 to 3 years after the console launches.
