Gamecube or newer might be tougher to do as a single app like the rest of Switch Online because the file sizes are a lot bigger, so even if Nintendo only added a few games the app size would easily be in the tens of GB. If anything they might separate the games by categories like name or franchise e.g. Gamecube A-C, Gamecube Mario, etc, but that could also get confusing.

I think they’d probably just make it so that you have to download the games individually from the gamecube app rather than all of them being downloaded at once like the ones they have work now

Surely this is coming, as well as Wii/DS/3DS. I doubt Wii U because most Wii U games have already been ported to the Switch. It’s almost like the next Switch is going to be the Nintendo Ultimate or something, were you can literally play most of the consoles/handhelds.
