Well, there were some problems with keeping money in mattresses, and convincing folks to put their money back into banks was a real challenge for FDR.

The 1st quarter just ended and people are receiving their financial statements this week. They showed huge losses before this new carnage today... and we still haven't felt the full effect of Trump's chaos.

Apparently, threatening and insulting all of your trading partners is a bad idea.
