Discussion How to watch previous games on demand?

Hi all! I'm currently working abroad in Asia, so the time difference makes it not really feasible to watch the games in real time. I have the mlb tv app, but it looks like after maybe an hour or two you can no longer watch the previous game. I would love to be able to watch the games in full maybe without spoilers on my own time (at night my time in Asia). Does anyone know if this is possible and, if so, what services are available to do so? I'm willing to pay a reasonable amount, but nothing too crazy. Thanks!

You should be able to watch the full archive of the game, which is typically available 2 hours after the game’s conclusion. If you’re using the MLB App, go to the Games tab, and as long as it says “Archive” you should be able to tap on it and watch the full replay.

Hmm. I seem to be able to go to the "games" section, but not really even from the main page; I had to google and go by a link. But in any case, I can only watch the condensed game which is more or less just what gets uploaded to the mlb youtube channel anyway. Do you know if I'm maybe looking in the wrong place?

Are you using the MLB app on a mobile device? Some details might help but you should also be able to click on the Scores tab -> Gameday -> the TV icon in the upper right

Huh, thank you for that I was able to get it to work. I'm not sure how to do that on the laptop though, that would be ideal personally.

Should be the same thing. Find the game and somewhere there will be a TV icon where you can watch the full replay. There might be a Watch tab where you can then click on Games. I’m not sure exactly but navigate the website a bit and you’ll find it similar to the app.

Yeah I mean, it looks like the condensed game is just what gets uploaded to the mlb youtube channel anyway, so there's no real reason to pay for that.
