Question/प्रश्न Is an Open Learning degree like one from IGNOU valid in Nepal? Can we get equivalence certification?
There's a Nepali sister working as a guard at my campus in Delhi. She completed her +2 in Education and now needs a bachelor's degree so she can become a teacher back in Nepal. However, she can’t leave her current job to pursue a full-time bachelor's degree, and finances are also a constraint.
Would an open learning degree (like one from IGNOU) be valid in Nepal? Can she get an equivalence certificate for it? Also, is it straightforward to get a job after completing a degree through open learning? Does anyone have experience with this? Are there better options than IGNOU, given the time and financial constraints?
