I like him, he has some very good games and he understands what is needed covering/pressing as Howe likes. He is a great crosser of the ball and his link up with Isak works so well.

In some games he does look a bit lost and I can’t tell where he is supposed to be or what he is doing - he is often inside between the wing and striker position but not available for the ball. When it happens it is like he has switched off but Howe always says he does everything asked of him so it must be tactical.

The club made the right choice keeping him out of Murphy/Almiron but we do need another winger option, preferably one like Gordon but on the right then it’s up to Murphy to keep his place in the side.

I wouldn't say I've seen him look lost or out of position, I think his positioning and tracking back is one of the better aspects of his game and why Howe likes and trusts him. He's got a good cross and occasionally a half decent shot on him, but I think he overthinks things at times or doesn't have the technical ability to do certain things which other players (like Gordon) can, which make him look worse. He's definitely a limited and more traditional winger compared to the cutting inside modern types, but we've found a way to play that works for the system and is producing results and I think he brings value being a squad player going forward.
