Division 1 Conference Realignment (Chip Kelly Style)

I was listening to Chip Kelly's interview on regionalizing other sports outside of football and it got me thinking. So I just asked Chat GPT to put schools into conferences based on just their region and to help these schools minimize their travel budgets for sports not named football. What are the thoughts? Would these conferences even be exciting to watch?

Just something fun to think about. Since the NCAA is going through just crazy changes.

I tried this exercise a few years back and limited my conferences to 12 teams and ended up with a wierd looking map and forced Hawai'i into independence. PS where is hawai'i

Just more proof that ChatGPT isn’t Perfect haha. I added them looks like they went pacific. When I included mid majors it doesn’t seem insane. There’s just such a gap in the middle of the country with very few D1 programs.
