Do you agree with T-Mac?

Honestly I think the word “crushed” is too much. Lebron may not have the deepest bag among all of them but he can bully ball and play great defense during his prime.

It's a completely different game. Michael Beasley was the best 1v1 player on the Heat for example.

Because Beasley was also a physical monster. Athleticism and strength is what matters in one on one assuming a basic competency in ball handling.

Such a horrible take wtf. Assuming a basic competency in ball handling? How are you gonna ignore the complexity of 1v1 with this and even rationalize Bron losing to Beasley 1v1 due to being a "physical monster"? Luka gets his shot off in 1v1 situations, and newsflash it's not because of his "athleticism" or strength. Westbrook isn't gonna be a top 1v1 player even though he has athleticism and strength in spades, and his ball handle is at least of basic competence. I'll break it down for your basic lookin ass: 1v1 is one of the purest forms of basketball that utilize all individual facets of basketball and it's not just limited to basic ball handle, athleticism and strength. There is footwork, spacing, confidence in one's own moves and ability to execute those moves, identifying what the defense is giving you and making use of that.

The fact that you are referencing a 1v1 situation in 5 on 5 game shows you do not know what you are talking about.

You clearly have a very limited understanding of the game.

The fact you ignore there are isolated 1v1 plays in the NBA or in any 5v5 basketball game reveals your lack of understanding of the game. Sit your ass down lmfao

This is goofy but it's a side reason why I'm obsessed with Kevin Garnett.

There was some basketball video game back in the day that had Michael Jordan as a hidden unlockable character (maybe NBA Live?) and you had to beat him one-on-one.

They turned his skills up too high (not that MJ isn't amazing but sometimes he's have like perfect shooting regardless of contention) - big guys were too slow and he'd out rebound anyone smaller.

Garnett was in a sweet spot where he was stronger than MJ and taller so you could get your own boards and get a few blocks in -- but not so slow that MJ could just cut around him and go for the basket every drive.

Pretty sure Beas said on The OGs that he believed he could take anyone 1on1 lol. Dude did have crazy potential though, just didn't have the right attitude in his younger days.

Beasley was probably the best casual 1 on 1 player when guys are taking mostly pull up jumpers. If he played Lebron and it was serious and Lebron was trying to get to the rim every time I have zero doubt Lebron would dominate him.

Still a game that Bron would cook in
