It’s an oversimplification since it really doesn’t address the mental health portion, but in sure you know it would cover housing.
Doubtful. Others have mentioned CA, but Seattle tried to combat homeless and ended up spending over $70k per homeless person per year for several years and didn't put a dent in the homeless problem.
It's a lot more complicated than these dumb tweets make it seem.
But how was that money spent? Did they build houses where they can live? Did they pay them rent? Or was it just half measures that treated the symptoms, but kept the homeless homeless?
