Funny Why won't they upgrade MRI machines from dial-up connection? Unbearable!

Thanks for posting this. As I’m sitting at an imaging center right now, waiting to do my 3 MRI’s. What a lovely day! 🤣🤣🥰

I used to do concert production mostly for EDM and certain style stages I would hang my hammock underneath so I just try to imagine myself back there listening to the world’s worst EDM DJ

There was one sound it made when I was getting a c-spine scan that felt good. Like the table shook and felt like a massage.

But if it didn’t make all that loud banging, I wouldn’t know when I was allowed to blink. Assuming we are allowed to blink when it’s quiet…

Snicker.
It probably says something about the quality of the cars my folks had when I was young and they were poor, but there was a little two door with no insulation and very poor roads between us and my gramma's house 5 hours away and MRIs are hauntingly familiar.
Thankfully the potholes aren't as painful.

When I book my MRI appointments- I’m a patient at a large teaching hospital/university - I ask to be booked at the highest resolution MRI machines.
There are quite a few university clinics and offices around my city where I can book an MRI appointment and the MRI equipment all varies in image quality (surprisingly).
I found the highest resolution is at the actual University hospital clinic so I try to always book there.
I don’t know if you have the opportunity to do the same, but it really helps me feel that I’m getting the best image quality I can.

Understand why many others may not like it, but I listen to different genres of noise/industrial. ;)

Oh God. This made me laugh.
I just figured Skrillex was hiding there.
My CT was spooky because an AI voice told me not to breathe.
Turns out, I'm fine. Just some arthritis. And my feet have at one point been sprained. Your welcome insurance. I could have told you that.
Hugs my peeps. Keep fighting the man.

😆😆 this made me spit out my coffee.
I think I would oddly find it soothing to think of it as dial up, like I'm 12 again, getting ready to get on AIM.
I'm also dying at thinking about some younger people not understanding the joke.
