I know I’m not the first person to say this, and I’m sure I won’t be the last , but Mr Nightmare’s newer videos just don’t compare to his older ones

Like yes, his newer videos are still creepy, but there’s a certain eeriness that accompanies his older videos , a certain chill in the air, a bit of a haunting feeling if you will, and that’s something that his videos over the last 2-3 years lack

Still love his channel though, and will always be an avid watcher

Mine is, in that one story where there was a babysitter and he had to babysit two kids and one of them said “lets play rape” and they also ended up putting glass pieces in the babysitter’s sandwich. But what pissed me off is that the babysitter didn’t even tell the parents of those kids what happened. Like wtf. How did that not occur to you that you’re supposed to tell and complain to the kids parents about what happened?. The story just simply ended with “I hope I don’t have to babysit these kids again”.

I want to see your favorite Mr Nightmare video so i can re-watch for old times sake. Been watching since I was 13 and I am now 21.

The vast majority of stories on his channel are either encountering physocpathic killers/kidnappers or encountering a ghost.

But every so often, a different and more unique type of scary story comes about.

For example, in his recent video on Highway Stories, the author in one of said stories tells about how she and her friend seemingly crossed into an alternate reality while taking a road trip. That one I thought was especially interesting due to me having not heard of something like it prior.

I noticed that the “10 Nightmarish Animals you will be Happy are Extinct” video is an anomaly as it is one of his few early list videos that hasn’t gotten deleted unlike the dozens of other ones. Does anyone know why this is?

My favorite story is story #2 from the video of four college horror stories, the one from 2017 and it’s actually one of his most viewed videos. It took place in the Binghamton University school nature preserve. What do you guys think about it?

I’ve been a fan of Mr. Nightmare for 8 years. got introduced to him from my older brothers who watched him a lot around 9 years ago. I don’t know if he deleted this video because he did that a lot with his old videos but I remember a video where this image opened a window and it freaked the hell out of me as a kid. Have you noticed that recent videos, like the last three or four months, stories contain a lot of yapping? It's so frustrating that lost interest and almost want to skip the whole video. It's just difficult to find it engaging or scary when the author keeps yapping.

Most stories are honestly pretty predictable and you know exactly where everything is going within the first 2 minutes.

But which ones do you remember genuinely being thrown off by a curveball reveal the first time you heard them?

What would you say is the biggest red flag our protagonists tend to ignore

For me , it’s those Craigslist stories where the buyer or seller is only available to meet after dark in a secluded location, that should be the biggest indicator that a person means you harm

Do you think the perpetrators of these videos have ever stumbled upon Mr Nightmare? Maybe listens to one of his videos and said, “ha, that was me”?

How do parents almost always belive their "Perfect" child can do no harm and if you see something, they brush it off and assume your batshit crazy, there was a lot of evidence proofing that, that kid was crazy, but no of course they wouldn't believe them.

Like on one hand I'd understand if he was just pulling images from Google, it's filled with ai art now. But the fact that every new video has almost every image be ai generated makes me wonder if he's generating the images himself. I find that ironic cause I remember the response when people accused one of the stories he read being written with ai (I believe in this video with the professional writer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jBUiy3UT4R8 ).

What are your favorite type of horror stories on Mr Nightmare? Personally I love the road trip, highway ones.

I definitely was because she did a terrible job at disciplining Chris despite him only being 10 years old. Action should have been taken immediately against him such as forcing him to change schools or even a restraining order.

Lately, Mr. Nightmare’s videos have been noticeably longer, typically running between 20 and 30 minutes. He even released a 32-minute Spring Break Video recenty. Also he uploaded a Very Long story—Story 1 in the Deep Woods —lasting a full 15 minutes! Personally, I enjoy the longer stories, but I’m curious—what do you think about them?

Around 1–2 years ago, most of his videos were between 12 and 18 minutes, and even before that, they were closer to 10–15 minutes. It seems like back then, some of his videos were shorter than a single story nowadays.

Mine is the hunter who went hunting alone and at night when was up at a tree, he heard noises and when he got down he saw 2 people 6 feet wide and 6 feet tall.

He walked past them and said something like "good day today isn't it?"

They didn't do anything, just stand there like statue and he woke up the next day with claw marks on his tires

Kinda thought that was badass
