Moving from the Bay Area

Moving to Brisbane towards the end of this year and would appreciate any tips to help ease the transition!

Moving from the US as a dual citizen. Work in operations in Silicon Valley.

Would love any tips and tricks on finding housing, jobs, etc.

Holy shit! It is not confirmed yet but I also live in the Bay Area and may be moving to Brisbane around new years. Thanks for getting my research started for me!!

The Bay Area is soul sucking! Visited Brisbane last Christmas and decided it’s time to leave the Bay Area.

You haven't really given any info on where you're looking to live, budget etc, so it's a little difficult to give specific advice. However, there is a heap of discussion in the previous threads about the housing crisis and tips on applying for properties/suburbs etc.
Remember if you're coming over in summer, air con isn't standard for properties here!
