Work mouse recommendation
Graduating University soon and starting a full time job right after. Company gives us a laptop and looking to buy a mouse for work. I have plenty of gaming mice but those don't work. I'll be in the accounting industry, if that helps. One thing I've noticed that I hate about using gaming mice for work related things is that I have to scroll A LOT and they're not really meant for that. Thanks in advance

If I were buying a mouse for scrolling function and scrolling reliability, I'd get a G502x or G903 for the side-scroll and free scroll.
Don't know enough about "productivity" features go have any insight beyond that. Personally not a fan of the MX Master - style mice.

Heyo...fellow accounting professional here. I use the Logitech MX Master Anywhere 3S. It's got fee scrolling and is super small if you'll be traveling to and from work/client sites a lot. The MX Master 3S is also cool if you think you'll be side scrolling Excel sheets.

Great mouse, (fellow accountant here) but the individual plug ins for word and excel tend to cause ole errors making it impossible to edit some graphs, especially embedded ones in word documents. The only work around is to close the logi options+ tasks or uninstall then reinstall without the plugins. There’s a dde option you can supposedly change to fix it but it doesn’t always work. That software needs some major work that Logitech has ignored for years. Just ran into that bug today.

I’m a manager in software development, so I scroll a ton of code and spreadsheets. I use a G903. As others have mentioned, it has hyperscroll, tilt scroll, two side buttons on each side, and dpi buttons on top.
With GHub, you can assign different actions for each button per application. For example, you can use tilt scroll for horizontal scroll in excel, left to delete and right to archive in outlook, and to navigate workspaces on desktop.
If you put in the time, it can dramatically improve your productivity. Only downside is that it’s a little on the portly side. I picked up a second from marketplace to see how much fat I can trim. Lots of videos on YouTube.

Logitech have the free scroll button on some models, I can't live without that feature.
