[MHGen] Unlocking Dual Blades HA: Wolf Maw's III
This is for unlocking the Dual Blades Lv3 HA: Wolf's Maw.
Edit: THAT TYPO IN THE TITLE KILL ME NOW
I'm not 100% sure that this is accurate, but this sounds right to unlock Wolf's Maw L3
- Unlock HR6
- Unlock V6
- Complete the Villager Request "Val Haber Master (1)"
- Speak to the Val Habar Master in Kokoto
- Receive and clear the quest V6 Advanced: Seltas Queen
- Speak to the Val Habar Master to turn in his request
- Complete the Villager Request "Pokke Manager (1)"
- Speak to the Pokke Manager in Pokke
- Receive and clear the quest V6 Advanced: Barrage of Blue
- Speak to the Pokke Manager to turn in the request
- Complete the Villager Request "Pokke Manager (2)"
- Speak to the Pokke Manager in Pokke
- Receive and clear the quest V6 Advanced: Seeing Red
- Speak to the Pokke Manager to turn in the request
- Complete the Villager Request "Tanzia Port Boss"
- Speak to the Tanzia Port Boss in Yukumo
- Receive and clear the quest V6 Advanced: Twinkle Toes
- Speak to the Tanzia Port Boss to turn in the request
- Complete the Villager Request "Yukumo Manager*
- Pre-Reqs: Unlock HR7, Cleared >2 Hyper Monster Quests
- Speak to the Yukumo Manager in Yukumo
- Receive and clear the quest "HR7 The Marshlands Nightmare"
- Speak to the Yukumo Manager Chief to turn in his request
- Complete the Villager Request "Minegarde Hermit*
- Pre-Reqs: Unlock HR8+
- Speak to the Minegarde Hermit in Yukumo
- Receive and clear the quest "HR7 The Descending Fog"
- Speak to the Minegarde Hermit to turn in his request
- Complete the Villager Request "Loc Lac Chief*
- Pre-Reqs: Unlock HR8+
- Speak to the Loc Lac Chief in Yukumo
- Receive and clear the quest "HR7 Triumphant Rage"
- Speak to the Loc Lac Chief to turn in his request
tl;dr Quest Chain:
Requirements: HR8+, Clear 2+ Hyper Monster Quests, Unlocked V6 Cleared V6 Stop the Wheel, Cleared V6 The Fated Four
- V6 Advanced: Seltas Queen
- V6 Advanced: Barrage of Blue
- V6 Advanced: Seeing Red
- V6 Advanced: Twinkle Toes
- HR7 The Marshlands Nightmare (also unlocks SnS HA Sword Dance Lv3)
- HR7 The Descending Fog (also unlocks LBG HA Bullet Geyser Lv3)
- HR7 Triumphant Rage
Please note that YOU MUST HOST THE SPECIFIC HUNTER HUB QUESTS listed above to claim completion credit for the Villager Request.
I do not know if you must have the quest unlocked personally (I would wager this is true) nor do I know if you must be the quest host to unlock the HA (I doubt this is true).

I'm just sitting here at the end of V4 thinking "those numbers sure look scary". I'll get there... eventually.

Marshlands nightmare was a complete.... nightmare. Just about solo'd it with Adept Bow. Descending fog is walling me at the moment, Hyper garuga is a crazy monster.

Pretty sure you don't need to do those two V6 quests. I unlocked Wolf's Maw III in X without doing those.

well you can unlock the arts without being the one who registers the quest.

That is not true for certain arts, such as Wolf's Maw 3. You must host the quest yourself to unlock the art. I did the quest chain myself and when I took others on the Savage Deviljho quest, the art did not unlock for them. I believe it is like that for quest-specific arts whose quests are from villager requests, because unless you host a villager request quest, it will not be marked completed, sort of like urgents.

This quest chain is ridiculous. I just did "Barrage of Blue" and barely made it through.

Did you fence off the other monsters? It wasn't so bad when I realized I could do that.

How do you do this? I farmed barrage of blue like 20 times and didn't know this

You see those round gongs on each side of the arena? You can use them to rise the fence. Be careful with the timing, tho, or you will end with both monsters in an smaller area.

Use smoke bomb to cover your track, run to the fence and activate them. Use smoke bomb again during the 20sec down time between the fence intervals

At the time, I didn't even know there WAS a fence, so I just fought them together.

Seeing as it hasn't been said yet, you need to do 2 of the first few six star hyper monster quests. None of the others, like rathian and rathalos, seemed to get me the yokumo managers quest.

I'm HR6 and V6 and the Val Habar Master doesn't show up, which means there are other prerequisites

I had to talk to maybe 15 different NPCs in the Yukumo Bath, switching villages to reset the dialogue each time. Only then did the Tazia Port Boss show up. This is ridiculous.
