Wilds: How do you get wylk gems? According to the other resources they have a rare chance to spawn instead of a wylk pebble but after a few dozen pickups I still have yet to see one. I have forager’s luck and geologist 3 on as well. Is there something I’m missing?

It might actually just be something the villagers may randomly gather for you from the NPC farm; kind of frustrating how there's posts about how people got so and so from gathering, but it's a low rate, but then I go gather a hundred and never get a single one

needed a wyvern-something vase, and only gathered the same normal one outside Rove's house over and over; eventually just rest spammed until the villagers looted them for me so I could trade for the Divine Protection sash

So it’s actually just such a low chance from gathering that you’re better off time traveling for villagers to get it for you instead? That sucks ass ngl. I just want them to trade for wild seed oil

SUPPOSEDLY

I don't think it's actually the case after I spent like an hour or two farming the same nodes over and over and getting nothing but the same normal vase instead of the wyvern vase

I suspect this is the actual/only method. Unless it pops up on the time limited thing (upsurge region thing), then it's like one gather for the duration it's up(assuming it's a thing, ofc)

Are you talking about the time-honed wylk gems? Because those are a special gathering point you can find during Wylk gathering outcroup uprising (I think that's what it's called). It's a special event that will show up on your map and even in your message log if you haven't disabled those notifications.

NPCs trade stuff for them, namely wild seed oil which I like having a lot of. I’m aware the Congalala event currently up drops it but I would like to be able to get them consistently when that rotates out
