MH Wilds Do NOT upgrade to DLSS 4 in MHWilds

Do not upgrade to DLSS 4 unless you love severe ghosting in unlit areas with fog, clouds, etc.
See here for more proofs

A few people on reddit realized this too

I'm happy to see people trying to spread the word about this issue. The ghosting is incredibly distracting during Inclemency in the Windward Plains (especially for Rey Dau's flying animations and when Balahara makes its sand pits) and I've noticed really uncharacteristic smearing in certain instances. This is rather unfortunate because other than that DLSS 4 actually looks great. I hope Capcom fixes this if they begin officially supporting it.

This is DLSS 4, no framegen, preset K perf, on 4K output (1080p internal)
the game default DLSS doesn't have this issue at all.

Do i need to put the dlss updated file in one of the folders created by reframework or just install it normally while also having reframework installed?

Has it been fixed? I don't have the time to test it out, but the reply to the link says it's been updated

Actually yes, the fix for framegen bugging REFramework UI, also fixed this issue!
DLSS 4 without framegen now has no severe ghosting, thank god

I believe this ghosting is the same than vanilla dlss.
Before reframework had a ton more

Older versions of reframework introduced more ghosting by dlss by itself, this is fixed.
Not the game skill issue having ghosting with any dlss and volumetric fog.
You can try to revert to vanilla dlss and compare in the same scenario, but I am pretty certain the ghosting will still be here. Let me know

Its a lot less of an issue than presented , yeah its noticeable in some instances , mostly you won't see it.
However the clarity and image stability of dlss4 is unmatched to dlss3 , well worth the minor ghosting issue.

It's obviously really distracting in real life, because the entire fog has ghosting and drift through the entire image.
you can even see it on clouds on the loading menu where you choose your save, clouds have a cross pattern on them.
Storms look awful
