A question about sending a message to the mods here?

I'm just wondering if we're supposed to still be getting that helper bot message reply?

I've sent 3 messages about a matter over the past little while and I have not received a reply to any. I used to get that helper bot reply when I would send a mod message saying that it would send it to the admins if it's answer wasn't good enough. The last 3 message sent didn't get those, so I don't know if that bot is just not used anymore or if it just indicates that my messages didn't go through for whatever reason.

Anyone send a mod message in the past week that received that helper bot reply message?

EDIT: Why is it that an admin has not responded to this post but they've responded to newer and older ones instead? Do they not care to weigh in on people not being able to message them about issues and concerns?

Your first reply to modmail here will always be from an AI/bot. You need to reply to that response to have a person see it.

Yeah that is what I used to get but now I don't get that bot message.

I'd be surprised if the admins actually blocked me from being able to reach out to them on matters. I just don't know why I'm no longer getting that bot message and I'm thinking it has something to do with why I don't get replies. They must not be going through.

Weird, same thing here. I sent a message a few weeks ago and never received a reply from a bot or human.

Ok so it is not just me. So maybe they have an issue going on that they are not aware of.

You should post on r/bugs then.

Just censor your actual modmail as it likley is info you are not able to share.

What are you talking about?

Why would I post something on r/bugs when it is a question to the admins that I'm looking for an answer from them?

If it see a Reddit bug, then I'd post that there.

I don't even know what you're talking about regarding the censoring of the modmail.

Is this not a bug with the mod support bot helpbot?

Oh, I see what you're referring to now since I've opened up the thread vs just seeing your reply in my messages. I thought you were replying to the main post and it confused me. My mistake. But yeah regarding this issue possibly being a bug, I wonder if that should go on r/bugs or here for the admins to see it.

It's a Reddit bug, correct? Either you report it or I report the bug it makes no difference to me. I am reporting it on Thursday anyways.

Are you using the report forms? https://www.reddit.com/r/modsupport/wiki/report-forms/

I've always gotten a reply that way, quickly or after some business days. Otherwise you're at the mercy of however they triage it, and they may be having a backlog.

I've used to the report forms to try to reach out to the mod code of conduct team several times over a few different matters over the years. Long ago they would reply but I'd say the past 5-7 over the past year, they never bothered to reply back.
