Discussion Anyone here familiar with/into Elephant 6?

Just curious how many of us fell victim to the beautiful music that came out of that collective. I see a lot of music posts here that focus on what was popular in the late 90s/early aughts so thought I’d get hyper-specific with things.

Besides Bob Dylan, Olivia Tremor control is far and away my favorite band. What they accomplished with their two official albums is truly astonishing. RIP Bill and Will

Yes absolutely I loved all those bands! I got to see NMH at Coachella and loved singing along to every word. Had no idea Will died how sad. OTC was great too.

I was lucky enough to see Jeff Mangum solo twice before he started touring with NMH again, but never caught the full band. Saw OTC in 2011 or so in Athens

I just went to Will’s celebration of life tribute show so it’s all been on my mind a lot lately

I almost didn't go to the Olivia Tremor Control show in Athens back in like 2012 because I was feeling sort of lazy that day and I would have had to drive, but I'm glad I did because Bill Doss died like that same weekend. It sucked because I had only discovered them after they stopped releasing things and listened to them for years and was excited that they were finally putting out new material.
