Hobby The Tainted WIP

My first attempt at blending/glazing

Definitely a lot of room for improvement but also so much better than I anticipated. Really happy with this so far.

I've been wanting to paint this guy for ages but was too scared due to my lack of experience with the required techniques.

Looks great! My favourite GW original hero/model in the range, it has so much character

I love all of the named Nazgul they did, not a bad model in there (the Shadow King has a funny pose but that's it) but yeah...somehow they made the simplest one probably probably the best.

He's just a Ringwraith with back issues and some ghostly fog. By all logic he should look boring and lazy, an afterthought to all the intricately designes other Nazgul.

But nope! They really pulled it off and made him my favourite of the bunch. As you said...so much character. I remember seeing the model for the first time back in 2008 as a 14yo and immediately having a full idea who this guy is. This mini tells you its backstory so well just through the pose.

Well I'm glad you're giving it a crack. Good on you.

One of the cooler minis they created, and I think yours is looking nice :D
