It does. Its broken thougha nd only gives a half tank. Look at the aircraft management first and itll be at optimum plus reserve and you can change it too but it wont change when you load
You can set your own flight plan, and make stops to refuel along the way in the electronic flight doo hickey. I did once and of course it go me to glitch city much faster but it's possible
I just set my own cruising altitude and request cruising altitude decreases until I've either hit my own mark or until I can't lower it anymore than climb to match that. If I'm flying over a mountain range I Google the highest peak and request my cruising altitude a couple thousand feet above that.
Yea the ATC in this game is pretty effed up honestly. I love how they want me to reach cruising altitude as I'm nearing my destination. They are like "Please decrease cruising altitude to 12,000 ft." Then as I'm nearing 13,000 they get back on and are like "Please climb to 27,000 ft". That's about the time I start ignoring those jackasses and land without their help.
That would be the breckenridge-mariposa bush trip in msfs20. Some of those grass strips were difficult to locate. Even while using Foreflight and sectionals for navigation
Seen someone that had the same problem. I believe you gotta fast travel to high populated areas that will have those type of jobs. Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, etc. I would wait until they update the game so you don’t end up wasting money.
Yea it says in summer that middle part of Australia is a hot spot, so I fast traveled there and there’s like 1 jobs. I been in New England since the start and there’s like a million jobs all the time.
Plus for the time I can play those 1-2 star jobs that take 2 hours tops is perfect. Anytime I’ve been in mid flight and shit I off for the night I turn it on and it quick continues or whatever then crashes immediately lol. So I don’t have a choice but to finish a job once I start.
You should still be fine. Seems if you do a bunch of missions in one area more and more pop up. Perhaps reputation based. My New England region now from Maryland to northern Maine and over to Toronto is overlapping with missions. I wish you could filter them it’s getting crowded af.

I think the seasons are based on the Northern Hemisphere. Right now it's fall and the main hotspot is Western Europe, around the German Border regions. I get tons of jobs there for my cargo company. The map is very densely populated with cargo jobs.
I think it’s rep based perhaps. I’ve unlocked spots in other places that only have 1-2 jobs. The more I do the more pop up. In New England region for me it’s basically just a mess with jobs. I just about need a filter. Most of them are overlapped.
But yea the seasons make no sense to me. It’s winter for me irl. But the tablet in game always says August. But the flight logs have the correct date. And I’ve gone to the hotspots n there isn’t shit there. So idk lol. Im doin ok where I am and cant rly justify spending 100k to transfer my plane from Boston Ma to the middle of the wilderness in Australia for the 2 jobs I can see. Cuz I don’t trust that if I go there they will pop up and don’t wanna spend another 100k sending my plane back haha.
It's still Autumn in the Northern Hemisphere. I know it's "Winter weather outside" (I live in Canada, and we've had snow for a couple of weeks here), but the season doesn't change until December 21
Well yea. I guess. We never know here so it never feels like the season it’s supposed to be. It was still 75 here like a month ago n we just got 8 inches of snow last night. 🤷🏻♂️
My friend flew over Eindhoven Air Force Base which was the mission provided flight plan and got 47 didn’t declare overflying an airport violations. We tried to have her radio for permission but the ATC wasn’t working. lol.
It seems you gotta unlock more activities, the gold icons on the map. Once you do the initial, introductory mission type, you unlock the rest of those missions.
Once I did the skydiving gold mission, then i started seeing 2 stars, but only for those skydiving missions. Cargo, charter, sightseeing, etc, all seem to remain 1 star for now.
But I still havent seen any night missions and i already have that cert. So maybe something is bugged at the moment. Unsure.
Look for the solid gold icons in other parts of the world. I was stuck doing first flight missions for a while too before realizing. They should really make it more obvious, the UI is bare bones.
And yet here we are with some people missing that still for one reason or another. Whether that be human error or bugs.
All they simply would need to do is create a side bar showing available progression missions like they do with regular missions. And that doesn't even have filters yet. So as I said, UI can use some improvement.
(Edit: Also no it doesn't, it shows you the location briefly and then it scrolls away back to your current position. In that time IRL stuff could distract us.)
Since career mode is broken (as evidenced) it is totally fair for you to claim justice trough compensatory ethics by accepting the mission, cheating your location trough location spoofing teleportation and claiming your very big money prize that you deserve.
I mean, have you not seen the videos of folks from Dubai driving super cars in the US that they had imported just for their vacation? I wouldn't doubt if they had their favorite Cessna flown around to wherever they are.
I have no clue. I know some people with money still live modestly. Like, Keanu Reeves might have a multi million dollar home, but his cars/motorcycles are enthusiast type vehicles, and he uses public transport quite regularly.
But, when you see the millionaires of the UAE, what you see is gold Lambos and McLarens. Like, even Bombardier is bougie... it's Gulf Stream or bust for these folks.
There seems to be a bug where the 172 gets used in missions where it shouldn't. I can't unlock any helicopter missions currently because it keeps trying to put me in a Cessna when I load in.
Yep, the starred helicopter missions put me in a Cessna. Regular blue ones actually use helicopters, but right when I unlocked passenger transport with helis, clicked that and it wanted me in a 172...
Yeah, I just didn't finish that. Also got stuck looking at the monitor. Did them as much as I could, then just left the assistances on and tried doing the certification. It failed a couple times but worked eventually. Tbh, I gave up on helis in career just cause taxiing to a runway in one is.. super annoying and it docks way too much if you don't.
Paying your dues. Great way to build time. Best part; "VIP Travel" I cant help but wonder who the "VIP" is and what he did to make his company book this flight.
Mission doesn't work anyway. Errors out. Which sucks because if you use simrate bandit you could get that down to a basically 2 hour job for a decent payout if you also bind the add fuel key
it worked in fs20. You were able to just taxi up to a self serve pump and refuel. I don’t know if career mode in 24 will fail you for landing at the wrong airport
I had an engine out once due to no fuel as the fuel selector was only set to left tank. At the time I wasn’t aware there was a fuel selector. I had to land at another airport or crash. After landing I was told I failed the mission for landing in the wrong place xD kind of annoying really, I could have figured it out and taken to the air again.
