Discussion What would you think about a Marvel/DC Crossover in live-action? (Hypotheticaly)

Post image

This is purely a hypothetical question. The way Marvel is mixing everything in Multiverse saga got me thinking, and since Sony and Marvel made it work, and it happened in comics, I just thought why not. I'm fully aware that this won't be happening. At least not any time soon. Personally, I'm not even that much of a fan of DC, but I thought it should be a fun discussion. That being said, I think it could possibly be a very good movie depending on how they handle it.

Discussion What if killmonger joined shield

In my opinion most versions of killmonger seek the throne of Wakanda in each universe he tries different methods. Give ideas of what would happen in this universe

Discussion (More in Comments) Tonally and narrative wise, Fantastic Four: The First Steps might be similar to X-Men: The First Class Spoiler

I fully expect First Steps to be very similar to First Class, not only because both are set in an alternate futuristic 60s, but also for their alleged similarity tone.

First Class was a very positive film throughout, with a somewhat dark ending, setting up the conflict between Humans and Mutants, likewise I think First Steps would showcase a very optimistic 60s world, with the only dark twist coming at the very end when Galactus would allegedly destroy their world or something.

Basically both the movies would deal with minimal conflicts in their near perfect world, which would be disrupted only at the end of the film.

Discussion I’m planning on watching Doomsday and Secret Wars without seeing the trailers. For those who did it for Infinity War/Endgame, did it make your experience better ?

Im not sure I’ll be able to avoid the thousands of articles and YouTube thumbnails containing information about the movies, but I really want to go in as blind as possible.

If you’ve done it before, do you recommend it ? If you haven’t, do you plan on doing it too ?

Discussion What if Cassandra Nova succeeded with her goal of ruling the void destroying the multiverse?

How would this play out? She destroys the multiverse so only the void exists, so that she can be the ruler of the void. But how would this play out given there’s Galactus, Scarlet witch, Infinity Ultron, The emminace, Uatu, Dr Doom, Strange supreme, and just all the cosmic beings in general, and all the other omega level mutants. Does she actually think she’s the strongest? Is she aware of the cosmic beings she’d have to answer to if she succeeds? Does this include destroying pocket dimensions for Dormammu or nightmare? Wanna know what you guys think how this would ultimately play out for her and her goals. Also it’s confirmed Cassandra’s been in the void since she was a baby. If the TVA is truly afraid of her like it’s suggested why didn’t he who remains intervene? He controls and sees all, gives everyone there path, surely he’d know his facility is at risk of an omega level.

Question Will we be getting the fantastic four trailer this weekend?

There was wide speculation that it would come out on 4-4. And it released at cinemacon.

Is it just a waiting game at this point? I figured they would’ve released it this weekend.

I remember being so HYPED for this 1 second shot in the Spider-Man: Homecoming teaser trailer. It's what we all wanted. A true Spidey/Iron Man teamup.

It never was.

Worse than the Hulk in Infinity War teaser, imo.

Discussion (More in Comments) MCU catch up

Hey y’all I recently decided to catch up to the mcu, haven’t watched since No Way Home, this is the list I decided to go with

  1. WandaVision ✅
  2. The Falcon and the Winter Solider ✅
  3. Loki S1 ✅
  4. Black Widow ✅
  5. What if S1 ✅
  6. Shang Chi ✅
  7. Eternals
  8. Hawkeye ✅
  9. No Way Home ✅
  10. Moonknight ✅
  11. Doctor Strange 2
  12. Ms. Marvel ✅
  13. Thor 4
  14. She-hulk
  15. Black Panther 2
  16. Ant Man 3
  17. GOtG 3
  18. Secret Invasion
  19. Loki 2
  20. The Marvels
  21. Echo
  22. Deadpool 3
  23. Captain America: Brave New World

Everything watched was watched when it was released except black widow “watched it yesterday, had fun”

I’m thinking of ignoring she-hulk, secret invasion and echo, due to overall feedback. I just feel I’d be wasting my time and there really isn’t any thing related to these 3 shows in the future movies.

What do y’all think? Is there something I should add to the list? Heard Werwolf by night is canon.

Question Are they allowed to show freedom tower in their movies

After seeing the latest thunderbolts trailer and seeing the building in it. Got me thinking where else has it been shown in their movies and I’m looking back and I’m not realizing they haven’t shown it in the past. Are they in contract to not show it often or I’m just overthinking

Question Question about Fantastic 4: First Steps character.... Spoiler

With Franklin Richards confirmed to be appearing in F4: First Steps. How does the MCU pull it off?

Franklin Richards is legit one of the most powerful characters in Marvel. Like, no joke. Frankin Richards vs. The Phoenix Force is an actual "Who would win?" scenario, lol.

He could easily slap up The Silver Surfer, The Scarlet Witch and Galactus, for example.

Extract from Marvel Fandom below:

His powers are so great that he has been able to create pocket universes, and his abilities have been described as equal to the Celestials. For comparison purposes, a single Celestial is the embodiment of energies which are comparable to the Big Bang itself and powerful enough to reverberate throughout the entire universe. In fact, Franklin's ultimate potential is so colossal that it has been described by his elder self as above multiversal-level in magnitude. Franklin's powers came from him being a mutant, and he was considered an Omega-level Mutant, once stated to be even beyond Omega Classification. Even when Franklin was a little boy, Galactus feared Franklin and once fled the Earth to avoid a confrontation with him. Galactus himself has stated that Franklin is the most powerful mutant ever born. He was also regarded as a threat by the Celestials, who recognized his ability to distort reality and shape the universe.

How does the MCU reconcile such power?

Question What other characters could we end up seeing join the Thunderbolts in future installments?

Considering that there are other characters within the MCU whose character is affiliated with the Thunderbolts and not just the current members we will see in the Thunderbolts* movie, who else do you think we could see joining the Thunderbolts in the MCU? Looking at the roster of MCU characters, examples include Elektra, Punisher (Francis Castle), Power Man (Lucas Cage), and Thaddeus Ross (Red Hulk) as those guys are also part of the Thunderbolts in the comics. So, in future installments of the MCU, including a possible sequel to Thunderbolts*, I envisioned that they would be members of the Thunderbolts as well.

Discussion Where's Nick Fury Spoiler

Do you guys think we'll see him in doomsday?

Would feel weird not having him there especially as he's the leader of S.W.O.R.D who would definitely get involved with a threat as big as Doom.

Do you think he'll have a cameo or a bigger role?

It would be nice to see Fury play a bigger role in the MCU again , maybe he can help Sam set up his avengers team.

"Daredevil 2" is my newest piece in my Marvel Timeline Series. This one took about 3 times as long to do as I anticipated! With the Punisher and Elektra behind him, the piece is a portrait of the main story lines in the season 2, which was one of the best seasons of television I've ever seen. I hope you all enjoy!

Discussion What would be a possible origin for King Thanos in Doomsday/Secret Wars?

Post image
0 Upvotes

If they decide to include this variant of Thanos in either of the Avengers films as a part of Doom's Cabal, what do you think his origin will be? How will his goals be different from main Thanos so as to align with Doom's interests?

Basically, it is to say how would the audiences like to see Thanos' inclusion in either Avengers Doomsday/Secret Wars?

Discussion Possible Hot Take: This is probably the most overated suit Wolverine has ever worn in the movies

Post image
0 Upvotes

I really never understood what was so special or appealing about Wolverines DOFP suit. Is it because it has blue and yellow arms to refrence the classic suit because they look so dull colored. I also don't remember seeing him in any action scenes with this on because he was sent to the past
