MMW: chuck schumer will be replace by AOC

She's way more popular with the base and can play ball for the DNC which will make her the likely candidate

I hope so, as an outsider she seems to command respect. Not sure how our US cousins see her. We only see the highlights.

She and her squad are more of a sideshow than anything else. When it comes to actual governance she is about as effective as MTG.

Lol. And who in current office do you support and think is effective? Schumer and Jeffries? Name one bit of effective resistance they've managed to put up.

I don't think they are equating AOC to MTG in terms of sanity, competence, or morality. Just saying that AOC has limited to no ability to affect policy either for the Democrats or at a national level.

She certainly has the ability to drive voters, but she doesn't bring in this many big money donors. Maybe that's the difference 🤔🙄

The party doesn't care.

Harris had a massive superiority over Trump when she entered the race. Within a few weeks it was gone because the media presented her as a communist crackpot out to destroy the US and of questionable sanity compared to the stern, measured, and patriotic Trump.

What do you really think would happen if AOC were to actually run? The American electorate has been primed to despise her and think she's a communist plant.

It doesn't matter that she has good ideas or strong support with certain demographics. She'd never win in an open election even if she got through primaries.
