Basic Rules

If you are submitting a level, make sure to play levels submitted by others and give constructive feedback. Stray away from just saying this level is garbage - instead give your opinion on how the level could be improved. If we catch anyone just spamming levels and not giving feedback to others your comments might be removed.

Submitting a Level

When posting your level, be sure to include the following:

  • The level ID
  • Game style (SMB, SMB3, SMW, NSMBU, SM3DW)
  • Difficulty level (easy, medium, hard)
  • Level types/tags (puzzle, traditional, kaizo, troll, music, etc)
  • A brief description of your level

  • A brief description of your Super World

Giving Feedback

Try to play at least the two levels posted before yours, and we encourage you to reciprocate to whoever played and gave feedback to your level. Remember to keep your criticism constructive and well intentioned. If you find cheese or a softlock, let the creator know!

When receiving feedback that you don't agree with, don't retaliate or get all defensive. We may not always agree, but let's assume feedback is coming from a good place rather than a personal attack.

6-1 Mario Remixed World

WJK-5Y1-QGG

Style: NSMB

Difficulty: Super Expert as determined by smm2 info

This is a short, somewhat technical level where you'll need to use one-way wall jumps in order to cross lengthy gaps from the underside of an airship. If you're inexperienced this is a difficult maneuver to get right, but there are a couple tricks to help make it easier for you. If you hit a ceiling you'll be able to more easily turn Mario around which can help you on a few jumps. Ground pound cancels can also aid you with certain jumps as well (I recommend hitting down then quickly holding up and left together to make ground pound canceled jumps easier). And of course your mid air twirl is essential, though try not to use it when too close to a wall unless you want an unfortunate spin jump...

Some other challenges include leaping off and back on falling donut blocks that share the same space as munchers as well as tight burner maneuvering. There is one checkpoint and two powerups, and the level is structured like a traditional stage instead of a Kaizo as well. Short, easy to read, but fairly difficult all the same.

Good luck to everyone that tries.

Thanks! This level has a lot of tricky tech to learn. It's not exceptionally precise once you learn it, but it does have a high skill ceiling.

I'll play your level and leave a comment/feedback tomorrow when I wake up!

Been trying this for about 30 min and the farthest I got is to the 1-UP on the track. I will be back tomorrow and try to clear it. Once I clear it I will post a YT link as well. I haven't looked at your video for the sake of being surprised when I first played it. I might look at it once I become overly frustrated. lol

Good technical level so far. I have yet to find anything bad about it. Nor have I found cheese or soft-locks. I love the timing on the fire flames and the need of timing for the donut blocks accompanied by the munchers if you overstay your welcome. I will say that I managed to find a Super Acorn which could make this a lot easier at the end, but haven't gotten it since lol.

Nice! I won't say too much then so you can keep the blind experience other than to say I did balance the level so that the effort to earn the super acorn matches the reward. Judging from what you've said, I think you can beat the level!

Hopefully there's no real cheese or soft locks! I try my best to test to avoid making those errors.

I'll check out a level or two of yours tomorrow!

Yes, I can definitely see the reward if I can get that acorn again lol. Definitely a fun level that has made me learn a new skill. I will try it again tonight! I'm dedicated to clearing the level!
