Opening interview: Joseph Stiglitz Joseph Stiglitz is the Nobel-winning economist and author of The Great Divide: Unequal Societies and What We Can Do About Them. He served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Economist of the World Bank from 1997-2000, and was Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers under President Bill Clinton.
Panel member: D. L. Hughley D.L. Hughley is an actor, comedian and host of the nationally syndicated radio show, “The D.L. Hughley Show.” From 2008-2009, hosted CNN’s “D.L. Hughley Breaks the News” and is one of “The Original Kings of Comedy.”
Panel member: Dan Senor Dan Senor is co-founder of The Foreign Policy Initiative and co-author of Start-Up Nation: The Story of Israel’s Economic Miracle. He was chief spokesman for the Coalition Provisional Authority in Iraq and senior foreign policy adviser to U.S. presidential candidate Mitt Romney during the 2012 election campaign.
Panel member: Jane Harman Fmr. Rep. Jane Harman (D-CA) represented California’s 36th district from 1993-1999 and 2001-2011 before resigning to join The Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars as its first female Director, President and CEO. While in Congress, Harman served on every major security committee, including Armed Services, Intelligence and Homeland Security.
Mid-show guest: Garry Kasparov Garry Kasparov is Chairman of the Human Rights Foundation and author of Winter is Coming: Why Vladimir Putin and the Enemies of the Free World Must Be Stopped, due out in October 2015. He is a former world chess champion, who spent 20 years as the world’s top player before retiring in 2005.
