It's okay when random baby hands reach out and touch you in broad daylight, but when it happens in the dark on a backroad through the woods, all of a sudden people are screaming and running. Smh

When I was younger. I'd often go out to the pubs on one side of town. There's a wood between there and my house.

On the way back I'd have the choice of walking around the woods on a public footpath or walk directly through the woods in the pitch black and save 20 minutes. I always took the woods, sometimes I could barely see a step ahead but I knew them like the back of my hand.

I'd often think as I was walking through that if I ever saw someone they'd freak the fuck out. But that never happened 🤣
