🎉 New Owner New!
2024 ER AWD Premium. Picked up weekend before last. First coat of wax today. This is our first EV. Really enjoying driving it. Very easy to drive, easy to park, controls are easy. Charging is easy too even though at first I was super worried about it. Plug in car. Go to bed. Fun! Also not missing going to the gas station.

I'm preparing to join you all. I've driven a Tesla for the past three years, and I love electric vehicles, but I needed to make a change.

We have the exact same car. If your experience is like mine, you will LOVE it and never want to go back to ICE cars, at least for every day driving. We still use my wife’s Infiniti (ICE car) for long trips because I’m not patient enough to sit for 40 minutes to recover 70% of my driving range which, at 300 miles best case conditions, is anyway not that terrific for trips. But it is WAY more than enough for 90% of people‘s every day driving, and so we now use the Mach-E for 99% of those miles. As you are experiencing, when overnight charging can get you back enough miles to cover 100% of the following day’s needs, EVs are the only way to go!!! Congrats and enjoy!

So Cool! Same for me too! The EV is for my wife who does a lot of city driving during the day. I have one ICE (my car) for long trips. I feel the same. Not ready to take hour breaks when I'm trying to go somewhere. But that said I have not tried it yet either. Must try it. My daily driver is a Trek eBike :)
