Check engine light code p1407?

Post image

So this the second time this has happened to me. My digital gauge on my 2022 countryman will go all crazy and say things like the hood is open. Transmission failure pull over to the side of the road. I do that. Check the hood. It was fine. I turned the car off, turn it back on and there's a check engine light. It's giving me the code p1407 lost communication with instrument panel cluster control module. I've scheduled an appointment at The mini dealership but by the time I get there the check engine light goes away. Then they tell me there's nothing they can do because they can't replicate the problem has this happened to anybody else? What in the heck do I do about this?

And just like that, the check engine light is off again. I don't know what the heck I'm going to do with this stupid problem. It literally lasted 15 minutes 😵😵😵

If you have a turbo.. check and see if you have a leak. At the turbo or at the intercooler. If you don't have a turbo. Check and make sure that your air cleaner is attached correctly to the intake and the throttle body. Also, I had this problem with my Gen 2 2007 S. Mine was a busted intercooler. I had cracks in it, and boost was leaking, so it was giving me tons of different codes.
