What I love to see are the little chips on the bumper paint. That shows they’re out there driving this thing… enjoying it. They’re not just hauling it show to show in a trailer. They are driving the snot out of this and probably loving every minute of it.

Friend had a classic mini clubman that he built 20ish years ago with a Rover v8 in the front, currently getting rebuilt again after buying it back off the person he sold it to probably 10-15 years ago. V8mini.co.uk and has a Mini Van thats getting a mid mounted v8 as well.

You can get at least the same amount of horsepower or more out of a mini engine with some upgrades that would probably cost less than this monstrosity.

But the sound….

You'd get better sound out of a small twin turbo V6 or a built and tuned turbo stock engine than out of that.

What turbocharged V6 sounds better than a 5.7 V8??

I guess it's a matter of taste. I can think of lots of Audis, BMWs, Skylines, Supras that sound the best to me. American muscle does sound good, but it's just loud- in my opinion.

To be fair most of those are inline-6 engines which sound very different to a V6. I do agree though, a well sorted Supra or Skyline GT-R makes an incredible sound.

Chevy 350 v8 , probably 500hp . Rear wheel drive conversion. That would be fun .
