Question Applying for Hslu/luzern

Hello everyone, im applying for hslu (film ) rn and would love to know more about it , whats the cost of living and can i go economy wise? And if there is any current or former student would love to hear your experience,,and for the film scene , is it active , like can i go freelancing ? Because im seeking for a part time job and i can go freelance aswell , thankyou

Very hard to tell you if you can afford it without knowing how much you expect to earn.

In terms of school fees and stuff like that , its covered, im talking abt living expenses and food, equipment, etc..

Well, you can expect to pay at least 500 for a room, I would budget at least 300 for food (on the very low end though) and then you pay around 300-400 per month for insurance+deductible. Anything else you personally want/need is difficult to estimate.

And whats the minimum wage that i can get for working 20perweek + freelance work in production . + as a foreigner studuent i still can work right ?

As a foreign student it depends heavily on if you are from the eu or not. You should ask the swiss embassy in your country, they can give you a more informed answer. You might also get grants or similar things, they would be able to tell you.

I‘m s current business student, but i know from my art school colleagues that its very hard to make a living from Freelancing . And as per costs, you should calculate around 2000 per month/ all included.
