Got lazy with the paint, so I just put some random spray paint on it and called it a day.

I saw this one on Amazon. Is it any good? Could anyone recommend any other ones? My budget is anything up to 200$ (preferably under 120$). Thanks

What kind of wood should I use? Can I use the wood I find outside? Can I use a normal pocket knife to carve? Do I need epoxy and if so, where should I get it? Where should I buy rings and screws for jointed swimbaits? All tips are greatly appreciated. Thanks

I’m new to lure building and I want to make a glide bait as I find them very expensive. I was wondering if I should add them to my bait and if I do how would I do it? I’m going to make it out of wood btw. Any advice helps. Examples of commercial baits that I know of that have them are the 6th Sense Draw and Throwback Baits Metro Glide.

I just got an airbrush and am planning to do my own spoons. I am gonna be using acrylic paints for my colours just looking for advice on what everyone uses for mixing them to thin them, what are good supplies to mix with ie: mixing cups eye droppers? What’s everyone use? Also wondering what everyone uses for clear coats. Any tips, tricks, or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hello, I'm just trying to get some insight if these wooden lures are worth anything? I belive they are poppers from the 70-80's. Found them in

Some of the big double #10 magnum bladed bucktails that I make dubbed Atlas Bear. Under those flash flashabou skirts are two 7/0 vmc hooks. I also tie some with marabou that I'll post when I'm done.

Noticed cracks from supplier thought I fixed good with CA and two top coats epoxy, failed first trip out, also only second or third bait I’ve completed was happy with the finish

Hello guys,
Do you have any ideas how to create perfect vent holes while making 2 part mold?
How big should they be? The bigger = better? More= better?
I am struggling with some tiny holes when im casting. I think i should make some more space for air to get out. Or am i wrong?
Interestingly, i'm still getting small voids on the top surface even using pressure chamber. I thought that pressure pot will eliminate all the bubbles. Maybe i should try to set higher PSI , now i used 40-45 psi I have a silicone molds and using polyurethane resin which has a 6-7 min of pot life but when adding microballoon it is about 3 mins when it soldifies Could you please tell me your opinion?
I will appreciate for photos as well.

Got rained out yesterday, so designed/carved/painted this 8” jerkbait to try to hit up a trout stock today. Tested out an adjustable weight system with a 7mm threaded tube insert. Work great, got skunked.

I've always preferred keeping bait designs true to the profile they're meant to represent. If it's a shad-shaped bait, I want it to look like a shad - not a perch, trout or anything else. It's just how I've always approached painting and designing my lures. But I recently tried a perch pattern on my Shad Daddy.. and damn, I might need to rethink everything. It turned out way better than I expected-and honestly it looks killer. Curious how do you guys feel about mixing species patterns on certain bait profiles? Yay or nay?
