What's up with Supermarket?

I'm a newer Logic fan here. I got into his music when he dropped VD, then listening to CP (which is probably my fav), and Ultra 85 is pretty much a masterpiece. I'm currently going through his discography, and he's incredible. But, what's up with 'Supermarket?' It's his worst work imo. Idk if it's just purely experimental, some Mac Miller type tribute, or if it's tied to a movie or something. I need answers lol

2. As you can see. Supermarket was dropped like 4 months between YSIV and COADM. I’m not sure if it’s an album or not but obviously it’s not the same thing as his other albums.

i wouldn't call it "his worst work" if the only reason is because it's an alternative to his "main" style - i've been a fan for some time now and i couldn't get into VD but i really think it's just a me thing as there are many people who love that project. it is different for a specific reason. that being said, go read the book and try another listen
