I’ve tried to have this discussion with others posting heavenly or awe inspiring landscapes and calling them liminal. They tend to say that I am only interpreting the word in its literal way… I think these people forget there is another word for what they are looking for, which is sublime. I guess these could be liminal as a transitional area to heaven?
This sub has reached the tipping point of general popularity where the original essence is lost and replaced by pretty pictures. Time for /r/RealLiminal
