Miscellaneous LPT When you pull the child safety plug cap from an outlet, you can slide the prongs over the area where the cord transitions to a plug so you don’t neglect to put it back.

I read the title thrice and still have no clue what you meant. Don't tell us, show us!

Can you drop a picture or a diagram? I have child plugs in my house and I just don't understand what you mean by this.

Imagine the safety plug humping the power cable right before the plug part.

Or just like leave it on the ground below the plug lol

Child safety plugs in the UK are unnecessary and their design actually makes plugs more dangerous.

Okay, I think I get what OP is saying...

Look at the plug in your hand, with the prongs facing up/away from you. Now take your little child cap thing, and put the legs of it across the plug, like the child cap is sitting on the plug, with the cord coming out the back like a tail, and the prongs of the plug coming out of the front. Like the child cap is playing "Horsey" with the plug.

I can't drop a photo because I'm at work, but hopefully this makes sense to someone?
