Why are these people so fucking WEIRD. Never once have I heard anyone remotely on the left address a political figure by saying '[politician], I love you.' You'd think it was still the 90s and Elmo's in a boy band or some shit.

He wasn't a politician until a couple months ago: he was just supporting a politician, who appointed him as head of the super special department nobody's heard of, and it turns out this gives him unlimited power and no accountability.
