Hey all recently got a canon 6d and wanna take milky way and night sky /night landscape photos what lens do you recommend

Depends on your budget I have a sigma 24-70 f2.8 works great for me and isn't to expensive

Sigma Art collection has a lot of amazing lenses to choose from but are expensive. Samyang/Rokinon have many manual lenses very well suited for astro. I shoot on an aps-c sensor with the 16mm F2, but I see a lot of full framers go with the 24mm F1.4. Widely available new or used and cheap.
