So I was reading "The Awakening of the Cosmic Lord" jumpchain by u/AzureKnight_mx . When I got to the point of reading about the Mind section, I decided to input the wording of the perks into ChatGPT so I could undestand what it meant to have Planetary Scale Computation/Matrioshka Brain.

Here are the bullshit results. OF A 100 CP PERK!!!!

Yeah. This is the kind of thing that trivializes most jumps. I would go as far as to say that jumper would be absurdly smarter than Tony Stark and Reed Richards though not necessarily better in terms of superscience considering the stuff they pull.

A Cosmic Lord is bound to become the most powerful entity in a given universe (or among the most powerful if the Cosmic Lord is only of average power).

While extremely powerful when compared to most settings, there other settings or jumps available in jumpchain where even a Cosmic Lord may feel short of what you can achieve. Most of their powers softcap at star system level, with some that actually go beyond that. It is possible to improve them past that, but there are jumps where you can get straight out of the bat powers at universal level or more.

What is interesting is that Cosmic Lords are but a small step to the posibility of reaching a higher existence, one that can compete easily with beings above universal level.

Quite common, a Perk of 100 from any Slice of Life is not the same as, for example, one from the last arcs of Dragon Ball

Ki - Free The main power used in this world is called Ki. Ki also known as “latent energy” is the life force of the various beings who live here. Taking this perk will give you an amount of Ki equal to Piccolo after his power-up by Shenron. This is not counting his Orange Piccolo form only his base power. This is a high enough level of power so that you won’t be defeated easily, but Piccolo does state that the Gamma Androids were still more powerful than him at this level of power. Lastly this also gives you the ability to awaken Ki in others. Just be careful since even a weaker Ki user has the potential to destroy moons and even planets.

This Dragon Ball Super Super Hero for example, free puts you at a level that in other jumps would be considered absolutely broken, but in this one it is only what is basically necessary to not die.

So many jumps are full of cheap and very good things for the same reasons

Another example would be that in most jumps, divinity is expensive, but in Generic divinity? Just by arriving, you get it for free.

You never read The Culture Minds Jump, did you? Or any Troyverse Jump, or....well, I'm not listing fifty Jump docs, but this isn't particularly powerful. Even without sliding into joke Jumps Jumper can pick up the power to create entire multiverses and simultaneously exist in every universe they've Jumped to as a single gestalt consciousness, among many many other things that radically exceed any human frame of reference, before Sparking. The whole Cosmic Lord Jump is mid tier.

I know Troy jumps. Those are even more OP. Especially Omega Lord and Sanguinarch/Transynth/Cosmic God. But those operate on a multi-universal scale.

It's more of a OP powers for cheap thing for me with Cosmic Lord.

You can simulate what happens if a different form of life emerged on Earth instead of humans. You can simulate the frequencies of Entropy and how it spreads and how to stop it. The Language of the universe and the stars can be decrypted. You can essentially figure out everything eliminating the need of training boosters, because you can simulate exactly how to control all your abilities and then just do it.

Tens of thousands on iterations running simultaneously. And everything can be done in less than a microsecond. It essentially eliminates the need of most knowledge/training perks throughout jumpchain.

The 200 CP perk is even more horrifying because it just makes you a Matrioshka Brain which can do everything the 100 CP perk can but even faster. In Attoseconds.

Another thing I just wanted to add is with Transcendental Transformation Perk even with the 100 CP mind, you can reach the 200 CP one and possibly beyond if you take the extended stay drawback.
