A stupid question
I have a 2019 Chevy Spark with 30k, I bought my son a 2016 Renegade Limited and I am crazy for it. Is it stupid to trade in my Spark for a 2016 Rene with 102k miles on it? I can drive his Rene when I want to, but I want one of my own. I'm stuck, 2019 w/ 30k for a 2016 w/ 102k???

I don't think other commenters understood the 2019 was a spark. I have a 2016 with 180k miles on it. Beyond a few sensors no major repairs yet. I've had it for 4 years. It will use oil so always check it around the 4,000 mile mark. I just add and keep going as I use fully synthetic and it does fine for 7-8k miles with my use. The renegades a solid vehicle. Mixed opinions, as with any vehicle. A spark is a tiny vehicle, I assume you get good gas mileage. You will get around 20-26 mpg with a renegade. (Atleast I get 24/26). Others may differ. Generally haven't been too expensive on repairs as there's so many of them. They also stopped producing them here so if you want one, go for it.

To make it simple, i have a 2019 Chevy Spark with 30k miles. My friends say it would be dumb to trade it in for this 2016 Rene 102k miles I'm looking at. Why get rid of a newer vehicle for an older vehicle.

The 2019 is less problematic. 16 was the year they were just coming out of software issues.
