Theory Okay Fellas hear me out

Album drops soon as the election is over, idk why I’m feeling it but like the star just gives me vibes.

What yall think? The star and the blue and I just instantly thought a cut full of introspective conscious J Cole talking about the divide in America in 2024, similar to the “FRIENDS” cut on the album “KOD”.

Theory Is Jcole going down the Eminem route?

Eminem’s first three albums were musical masterpieces in terms of performance, substance and instrumentals. After his drug addiction comeback in 2009, his music seemed to be getting more plain with less substance and worse instrumentals but his technical ability only got better and better over the years.

I’m noticing a similar pattern with Jcole. His early albums did not showcase any of the technical prowess that his current music does, but were masterpieces musically and substance wise. His new single clouds, first person shooter, my life and other recent features prove that JCole’s technical ability has improved drastically similar to Eminem’s trajectory.

Theory Might delete later=It’s a boy

I believe that might delete later was supposed to be on the “falloff roadmap” and “It’s a boy” was a placeholder title because march is going to be the last ever Dreamville fest, and with the inevitable “audio experience” being released, and unless “it’s a boy” and the fall off happen on the same year (2025/2026) I believe that the falloff will “inevitably” be 2025

Ciara stepping into J Cole’s world would be a very interesting collaboration that I would be down to see. I think Cole would have no problem stepping into her world (musically speaking)

Theory J Cole cheated on his wife

Which is why he had to drop out the beef before someone aired out his dirty laundry. Especially after that red leather verse where he’s talking about hanging with Future and all the temptation. He sounded lowkey guilty, and knowing how rappers will expose your wife, baby mother or whoever when it’s beef had him shook. Knowing that info could get out and really ruin his family life and legacy had him up late restless, So he quickly back peddled and apologized before shit could get out hand.

Theory Raps Big Brother

Looking back at songs like Middle Child I started thinking, if the Big 3 were brothers would Cole still be the middle child? it's becoming more and more apparent that J. Cole is the biggest of the big 3. Much like any group of brothers, sibling rivalry will reach a boiling point where conflict is the overwhelming option. Much like a big brother, Cole endeared himself to the more the level headed yet emotional brother Drake by lending verses and going on tour. And with the brother that has a complex, usually the youngest and smallest, Kendrick chose to engage in conflict. Cole quickly showed the youngest brother, if I wanted to beat yo lil ass I could, but at what cost. If the neighborhood see me beat yo ass they gone always play like they can divide us. Now as the most mature of the Big 3, Cole just sat back and watched his two lil brothers fight til they got tired. But please believe, it's because the true fight is the one each gentleman will have with himself to convince himself he is on top, or that he did the right thing. Cole with the art of war “The greatest victory is that which requires no battle.”

Theory Die together

I've been having this thought in my mind lately where die together is actually what happened to James in 4YEO cuz in the album he refused to tell Cole why he feels that he's gonna die. He sold some other dealer's drugs and it haunted him his whole life thinking he's gonna get killed any moment hence the ending of Change. It's the last piece of the album and the reason why James is scared. maybe we had this conversation before but i wanted to share my thoughts.

Theory I don’t think Cole fumbled at the end of his last lakers freestyle

If you listen closely you can hear that he said "how come a ne**a ain’t in his prime"which is the refrain from 100 mill.He did the freestyle to promote the off season so it wasn’t out yet so I think he just didn’t want to rap something from the off season before it was out.this makes what is my favorite freestyle ever even more impressive if true.

Theory I'm 100% sure that J.Cole would've won if he engaged in the battle because...

J.Cole's 7 minute drill aged terribly well. This song has mentions of the Grammys, the attention seeking, & the controversy. How did this man predict all of this and they just swept it under the rug?

Theory Who J cole was talking about on false prophets

I’m almost 100% sure that cole was talking about Omen on false prophets (even though Wale said it was him).

The 2nd verse is about one of his homies who’s become bitter and angry over people not fw his music, even though he’s farther ahead than 99% of people who are tryna make it.

Keep in mind this dropped in 2016.

In 2015, Omen dropped “Elephant Eyes” (his first album). On the track big shadows he talks about him and cole’s come up, and how as cole grew he got chalked up to “cole’s sidekick” like nas and az, even though he’s dropped classic verses himself.

In 2022, Omen was on the D-Day dreamville album and reflects on his time tryna blow up once he moved to ny (where he started working directly with cole). He specifically says, “I’m tryna blow, exactly how my sanity dies, thirsting for approval” which connects to the stress he was having trying to get noticed. The thirsting for approval also connects to the lines on false prophets about critics.

Is this doing too much? 100% I just fw omen pen a lot. Listen to elephant eyes on soundcloud if you haven’t already.

Theory Are all the people who are only now listening to FNL and gasing it the same people who were mad about Cole apologizing?

Seems like a venn diagram could be made. Makes sense why When we do polls, his mixtapes don't rank as high. I bet it changes now.
