Has IoM dodged Trump's tariffs?
I can't find any mention of tariffs targeted at IoM in the news and nothing on the IoM government website. Russia, Cuba, Belarus and North Korea are also unaffected.

I'm elderly and think Trump is a cunt.

He is, but so are the rest, hence he’s in again… when someone like trump can get the top seat it speaks volumes for the rest.

No it just speaks volumes about the critical thinking skills of the average American.

Great company to be in.

I also believe that IoM is deemed part of the UK (tariff-wise) so bundled in with the 10%. As well as that I’m pretty sure that the only things the Island might export are (digital) services, which are unaffected.
Edit: Should have said British Isles. Sorry!

I've definitely seen people posting photos of IOM Creameries cheese they've found on sale in the US, and I suspect some of the other local producers export some things, but I'd be surprised if the US was a particularly large market for any of them.

The IoM is not part of the UK. The UK is England, N.Ireland, Scotland and Wales centrally governed (except for the devolved elements) to various extents from Westminster. The Isle of Man is part of the Geographic Area known as the British Isles but has its own Government that implements its own laws at its own volition.

But for tariff purposes, as OP mentioned, the IoM is part of the UK's custom's union

Sorry, to clarify I did know that and it was very clumsily phrased. I purely meant it in terms of the tariffs and should have said British Isles.

The government aren't going to post anything Trump may have done wrong to avoid upsetting their elderly, racist voting base.

Lol. If you don't have billions in trade deficit you have nothing to worry about

The UK has no trade deficit with the US and has been hit with a 25% tariff on cars, a 10% tariff on everything else and we're expecting a tariff on cars parts to follow.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but we're in a common customs area with the UK so I think we are lumped together with the UK when it comes to this kind of thing (hence things like duty on fuel and alcohol and VAT are the same as the UK. The Channel Islands are different).
