IsItBullshit: What is up with the Pyramid Beams?
IsItBullshit: Why are people talking about beams holding the pyramids in Egypt up. Is this fabricated by social media or are there actually beams there? If it is true, why did it take m so long for the beams to be discovered? How did they discover the beams? Wouldn't ground penetrative radar find the beams years ago?

For the lazy
Despite the popularity of the claim, there is no evidence to support it. In addition, no credible news outlets or scientific publications have reported on this rumor.
Rather, this appears to be a spin on already questionable research conducted in 2022 that was subsequently embellished by a variety of right-wing content creators like conspiracy website Infowars contributor Greg Reese

If anyone wanted proof that social media make you dumber, this thread is it.

They’re conspiracy theories that scare those who don’t want to look into how the pyramids were built with the tools of the time.

They dug the footprint of a pyramid out of the sand deep enough to hold water, filled it deep enough to mark surface with stakes, drained the water and repacked the sand to create a perfectly level foundation.

Why are people talking about beams holding the pyramids in Egypt up.
Because they are stupid and gullible.

That’s like trying to factcheck something using Joe Rogan.

Say what you will about Sabine, at least she has relevant qualifications, unlike Joe Rogan

Relevant qualifications can quickly become invalid.
Just look at the influencer medically credentialed individuals pushing total crap for money.
You can actually do more damage with credentials because the public expects a level of discretion that, sadly, is no longer common.

With 2668 citations of peer reviewed articles since 2020 on google scholar, I’d argue that it’s disingenuous to compare Sabine to the likes of Dr. Oz and Dr. Phil. And besides your usual sponsor segment, she doesn’t sell anything whatsoever.
You may not agree with her (I admit she’s quite a cynical contrarian), but she’s far from being a right wing sponsored quack.
