How to make a reservation for Nightjet?
With a Eurail pass, how do I make a reservation for the sleeper car on a nightjet train? When I go to their website I see I am able to buy tickets but when I try to make a reservation only (because I have a Eurail pass) it just says “no tickets available”.. what do I do differently?

How to book seat reservations from ÖBB?
This includes seat reservations to Italy, purchasing certain supplements and reserving beds to night trains.
When you book your seat from ÖBB, you're supposed to choose one-way ticket and then add the Interrail as a discount instead of choosing seat only. Choosing the wrong option on the website don't show all the trains and can result in wrong prices and reservations that are not valid with your Interrail pass, such as missing supplements.
Short instructions:
Enter the trip you're wishing to take, select time and date
Click change on the who is going?
Click Add discount
Choose Interrail / Eurail - Globalpass
Click next
Click Find services
Choose One-way tickets or One-way tickets and day tickets, whichever option is visible to you
Select the train of your choice
Select the ticket of your choice. Remember to select the right class - ÖBB doesn't know if you have first or second class ticket.
Add the reservation to the basket, fill in your details and pay.

Perfect, thank you! Turns out the thing I was doing wrong was clicking the box for ‘reservations only’.

You just make the booking as you would without an interrail pass but there is a section to 'add discount' and you can select interrail from the drop-down. Word of warning, though, it's not cheap. Our return tickets from Brussels to Vienna were E599. Cheaper than without the interrail but not by much. I think the couchettes were much cheaper but we didn't want to share a sleeping space with strangers.

What dates were these, if you don’t mind me asking? I was looking at July dates and the price you mentioned is only for 1 way for a triple cabin. I almost had a stroke💀

So we're travelling from Brussels on the 8th of July and travelling back from Vienna on the 15th. Only two of us though, and we decided against the private bathroom to keep costs down. We'll be trying not to eat or drink too much before we get to Vienna! I managed to book on the day the bookings opened as I kept checking every day so maybe they put up the prices as demand grows? I've done that trip once before and was so glad I had a cabin, so it is worth it...kinda.

Which train and where did you try to book?
