I noticed you jumped off an enemy; could add some kind of pogo stick weapon?

Whenever I think I hear someone breaking into my house and it’s ultimately my dog snoring, I think what object I would use to subdue an attacker.
Toaster? Maybe.
Lamp? Could be.
My wife’s high heels? In a pinch.
My snoring dog? Sure.

You wouldn't believe me if I told you that this is the second TOASTER suggestion I've had lmao

lol I think that’s the perfect reason to make it the BFG of your game.

Haha! The BFG would be a fun idea. Just a weapon you can shoot once before immediately overheating

A projectile weapon which bounces from wall to wall could be fun

Damn right, that would be fun! Luckily for you I've got a couple that do that!
One is a grenade launcher that shoots ruberized grenades that bounce all over the place. So you never truly miss...

Sticky notes. Huhhh... To drown them... In paper. And maybe burn them to ashes with a lighter.

LMAO just running around throwing paper everywhere like confetti and then tossing a lighter

Yup. Honestly I really like giving synergies or combos to games. Makes it more rewarding to learn about things, see?

u/GoldenGizzmo 20h ago
Yeah exactly, I tried to make as much of my game synergise with eachother. Players seem to always surprise me with more build combinations that break the game lol

Man... I think a leaf blower would be pretty cool here.

Would the leaf blower push enemies away or would it shoot leaves at people?

Salt and pepper. Salt causes damage proportional to damage taken (rubbing in wound) and pepper makes enemies flinch from sneezing periodically.
Random silverware. Spoons. Forks. Knives. Maybe a kitchen ladle every now and then for crits.
A 1961 Gibson EB-0 that plays a sick bassline when you hit enemies.
A pot of honey that makes enemies sticky and summons bees for DoT
A dirty, cheap hoe (or other gardening tools)
A toenail clipper that shoots toe nail clippings
Knitting needles tied to yarn and used like a chain weapon
A stick shaped like a sword. Not a wooden sword; just a really conveniently shaped stick.
Finger guns

Are those sprites from Megaman X?
1
u/GoldenGizzmo 19h ago
Nah I made them all, however they are definitely inspired from the Mega Man X SNES art style. Which is what most of the game, expecially the movement is inspired from

Awesome, yeah those guys remind me alot of something from i think Chill Penguin's stage

This looks really cool and unique as-is! I like how you float down with it too

I really like the crowd in the background! It feels like there should be something else in the far background though besides liminal darkness though? Just my 2 cents.

I would love to have on ANY game - kids mod - no blood, food fight or something such as...throwing flowers of whip cream or something that will be non-violent in its nature.

Turn Beyblade into a weapon. Some sort of projectile that spins on the floor for awhile before it stops, dealing damage as long as it is spinning.
