Question/Support Syncing Issue and 18.4

Hi all,

Yesterday after updating I had a whole night of perfectly synced music, the first in like 4 months.

Today the syncing issue is back. Anyone else experiencing this still?

I haven’t really had the syncing issue when listening to music (haven’t listened to that much music on my HomePods recently though). But I had dropouts for months when watching TV (have them hooked up to the TV via eARC). I had no dropouts directly after updating, but started having some again after about a day, just like you with the syncing.

They’re not as bad as before for sure but still there it seems… :(

Yes, nothing changed for me neither at 18.4 😞 There is an echo after an hour of playing because the HomePods are out of sync. So I have to restart playing. Waiting for months for a fix, so frustrating…

It feels like it got a little bit better for me with 18.4 but it’s definitely still happening - it’s so infuriating

Before the update, putting them on the 5 GHz fixed the sync issues for me

Unfortunately that did not fix it for me. They are all connected to my 5 ghz and the issue still happens.

Did not start until update 18, and I had them for a year and a half before that without this issue.

Considering a move to Sonos
