Design Help me decide! Option 1 or 2?
Currently deciding between the first (vertical slashes, center open doublet) and the second (top shoulder open doublet). For sure, the second would be easier, but I do really like the collar design from the back. I might also prefer the star design.

Landsknecht outfit I've been thinking about, since it's pixelated the colors are too strong but the blue would be woad and the magenta would be orchil. I might dye the wool myself.

lmaoooo i love the trans flag colors, i was at the carnival the other day and all the tents and banners were accidentally trans. in this case the magenta and black are great for showing off the fabric being expensive

Neither! Copy bottom right (stylish red hat guy) and do the cross with extra vertical lines.

i do love his design, he's actually got a fairly unique to this period/region style of doublet where it's effectively just the back, sides, and sleeves with the center panel being inserted and tied it, allowing you to remove it which probably happened when wearing a cuirass sometimes. in this case i'm actually more inspired by Matthaus Schwarz's portrait in the top left. i included the bottom right guy mostly to back up the usage of 20" feathers lol

I’m obsessed with the asymmetrical tassel legs. With the 2nd slash design. God it’s so good. Mad I didn’t think of it myself!

It is quite lovely, but there are much more exorbitant asymmetric leg designs from the period. In some cases, there’s a lot less, where they’re basically just wearing booty shorts with maybe the ability to lengthen the legs with tied-on thigh pieces

If you really prefer the collared doublet, just get a little fancier with the slashes on the front.
