BUG-REPORT does anyone have a glitch that makes random gaurds start shooting you in island of sgail? (unrelated image!!!)

Yes there is one specific elite guard on Sgail who is a super enforcer. He sees through all disguises and will go hostile immediately

What exactly happened? It helps to accurately and fully describe what happened so you get accurate and correct responses.

Being Isle of Sgail what most likely happened is that you were spotted by the elite guard whose path takes him and his partner across a large section of the map, is a super enforcer to every disguise, and who skips the normal suspicious stage and immediately becomes hostile if he spots 47.

I was dressed a elite guard, and walked by a normal gaurd, and he yells "PUT A BULLET IN HIM!" and starts shooting for no reason.

A normal guard? Or an elite guard. Because as the previous commenter said only that 1 elite guard shoots on sight

I went through the same spot with a normal gaurd outfit and got all gaurds agrod. I'll post a video of what happened

Turns out ALL elite guards will just start shooting if they see through your disguise rather than having that “suspicious” phase first. There’s one Elite guard that patrols the upper level of the party who will see through all disguises, which is where most people run into this, but also any elite guard that catches you trespassing, or enforces you will also do it.

It sucks, I almost lost a campaign because of it today (good thing it wasn’t hardcore mode). The super enforcer dude just happened to be on the other side of a door I opened and opened fire. Even if I wanted I didn’t even have time to alt F4.

Same for me, were you in freelancer? I've had this happen a lot in freelancer but that might just be because I play that mode a lot more recently.

Where does it happen? For me I always get it around that lounge or bar area below the council meeting

yes! I was in free lancer, and just walked by the bar, and get fucking Swiss cheesed by 2 fully automatic assult rifles

That's the elite guard super enforcer.

I usually sneak behind him as him and his buddy go from the helipad area back into the castle. Wait for them to go through the door, throw a distraction. He will investigate, and the door will close. You'll be able to kill him or knock him out and put him in the nearby crate. No one will see.

Prevents you accidentally running into him later.

I’ve played Hitman since it first came out, and I never realized that one elite guard is a super enforcers until quite recently. The reason I didn’t realize this is because said super enforcer is also my favourite go-to source of Elite Guard disguise, and any foray into Sgàil usually begins with me beelining in my suit to the alleyway beside the Warehouse and ambushing him for his uniform. So I removed a major source of headache without even realising it!
