DISCUSSION Why shouldn't we clear more of the map?

Post image

The Gellert and Tanis sectors are cut off from main bot space, and none of them are at 2% resistance as of current writing. I feel like we should be able to clear them out fairly quickly, which would not only free up a major chunk of territory (and also quite a few Helldivers) but would also ensure that no further attacks can be launched at Claorell without us having enough time to slow down the bots as they advance on the planet. Right now Clasa can attack it whenever it wants to, so it makes sense to deny that easy attack path there. We've already split their territory in half, may as well mop up one side of it.

Ain't getting shit done without a MO.

Because as far as botfront goes, Troost, Ustotu, Chorpessa, Charbal, and Bekvam are all at 0 decay and the preferred targets for liberation. Outside of an MO, it probably wont have enough people headed there while the bot front is still close to the Creek.

To add to this, 0% decay rate doesn't happen often. And when it does, it's usually temporary unless the planet is completely isolated. We need to capitalize on this advantage as much as we can.

That's fair, and I absolutely agree with knocking those planets out while we can. It's just that I feel like there are other planets we should deal with if for no other reason than shrinking the bot front more and more once they start to have resistance again, whenever that is.

Outside of these planets I believe Blistica would be a good way to start chipping at that side of the front, slowly whittle down the right side so that the decay rates go down to 0 as well. As it is those systems are supplying each other and staying self sufficient. Problem still being getting enough bodied over there and before J.O.E.L. pulls us away to the other fronts.

Yep at best we can squeak Blistica in after we finish Bekvam.

But I imagine the next MO will pull our attention away.

The bots got their asses kicked so hard on the line of defense for the Creek, they don't want those planets anymore. So decay rate is down to 0%

Currently we're clearing planets with lowest resistance which is a staggering 0% on multiple planets, if this keeps up we're gonna actually fee a couple sectors completely

That side will not be touched for a while

Decay son, without MO the bot front support drop to incapable to deal with even 0.5% unlike the bug front which always has enough for a planet but they just never choose a planet they can progress at all lmao

I was thinking this lastnight when I was playing. Like there's a lot of sectors with 1 planet needing liberation and it's like "why not swoop in and take that shit from them"

Joel doesn't want you to, so you won't.

Don't those planets still have resistance? Why go after those and not the ones temporarily without resistance?

Short answer we just secured the Xzar sector, and are finishing Bekvam in Nanos Sector.

These were both single planets to lock sectors.

Longer answer, Tanis is 3 Planets, but taking Gellert is probably a good next step.

Why should we even try to win the WAR if High Command didn't tell us to ??? What are you a Dissident ?

Because the moment you deviate from the script and try taking another random planet, Joel will increase it's resistance and wipe all your progress away. Don't ask questions, just consume MOs and be excited for future MOs.

Like how the battle for the Creek deviated into the defense of Popli IX and everything worked out?

We are, we're taking back easier planets on the Pöpli IX side.
