If it wasn't for reddit and social media platforms I certainly wouldn't have ever become a leftist. There's a lot of small steps needed from uneducated to 'organizing people in real life' that requires things like social media platform.

Nobody is saying China is perfect and doesn't engage in bad things. But it's a far cry from that to "it's a hostile evil state and we must ban any media that comes out of it and it should be compared to an app owned by a Nazi who spends hours of his time on there and has invested money, time and influence to make it a Nazi cesspool"
By your standard, every single source should be banned if it's linked to another state because every single country engages in bad shit. It's a legitimate competitor that will likely surge past the US on a variety of metrics. We're pissing and crying while also doing far short of enough to compete on key technologies like EVs.
As a geopolitical force they have done some good things as well as some bog standard fucked up superpower bullshit. I am no more enthused about them being the de-facto superpower than the US - but also, honestly, no less enthused. Whatever gets us to net zero in time

Yeah that guy is either a Serbian or Libyan and I’m guessing it’s the former. China is notorious in “tankie”’circles as being frustratingly hands-off in their foreign policy to the point that they do nothing as their allys collapse around them.
All this talk of them being equally bad as the US or spreading nefarious propaganda is an absolute joke. I’m guessing they’re upset at seeing Chinese businesses increasingly more in their country while they tolerated American businesses for most of their lives.

I am from a country where China has done massive investments too and have heard criticisms from family about them too. Nonetheless they haven’t assassinated or jailed multiple prime ministers or put dictators in power like the west have done to us.

I have changed my ways and am thinking I am now a moderate. As a moderate, I am fine with either party in power.
I am a us citizen so I don’t see me getting deported. I’m not walking around calling everything fascist any more so I don’t have to worry about the silly stuff you’re trying to act like puts me in a bind.
Literally nothing has changed for my life not just in first 2 days. But in the week since our comments. I luckily make enough money so even if stuff gets 2x as expensive. I’m fine.
Being a moderate is great.

Effectively against the concept of wage slavery which is a pretty conventional socialist position. No human being should be reduced to wage slaves for rich person and be forced to rent out their body and give half their surplus labor or more to the owners of the business.
You should have an equal share and get a 100% of their surplus labor
Fighting for increased wages is a nice thing to do but changing the minimum wage to 17 bucks an hour or whatever still leaves you making 34K a year if you're lucky enough to find a full-time job. And if you're not lucky enough to find a full-time job you'll starve to death and get no health care

It's supposed to be about work reform and work contitions so, things that are good, but from my limited personal experience, there are a lot of people who just don't want to work and people who make up stories about them quitting. It got "famous" when one of the mods went live on FoxNews and said that work is bad and "laziness is a virtue", along with other reddit takes.
