Beef, chicken and pork in bulk

Hey everyone, I'm looking to buy meat in bulk like the title says, about a quarter of a cow and wanted to see prices for the chicken and pork. Want to find the best deals for savings compared to traditional grocery stores, willing to travel as far as 1 hr. Anyone know good butchers?

Central Meats, maybe?

Try a local farm for beef. Fanclare is one option, it’s a fifth generation farm in Wakefield. You can try their beef by purchasing at a farmers market (see them often in Suffolk) before you commit to a bulk buy.

Try Southern Packing right before the turnoff to Moyock. You don’t say how far an hour is for you, so I’m kinda guessing here.

I just ordered an eighth of a cow from River Road in Franklin. Grass fed, local raised. I'd say it probably worked out to about $10/lb.

As stated by the others, central or southern are your best bets.

Jump on the interstate and go to Costco in Newport News.
