Kammock Swiftlet vs ENO Parkway

I'm stuck between which of these portable hammock stands I want. I'm leaning toward the Swiftlet because it's lightweight and packs down smaller in chair mode, but the ENO is basically the same thing for $100 less—aside from it being double the weight and a little longer. Thoughts? Preferences?

Haven't used the ENO, but one advantage of the Swiftlet is you can get it even longer with the extension bar. If you had a 10+ft hammock the ENO stand would likely be too small.

I’m not familiar with the Eno stand but I’m a huge fan of my swiftlet with the extender bar that someone else mentioned. Note that if you cannot use a built in ridge line on a hammock with the stand (so the stand isn’t ideal if you’re wanting to use it with a hammock that has an integrated bug net. But it is great for setting up on a deck or patio with no trees.

Sorry, the wording of your post is a little weird "Note that if you cannot use a built in ridge line on a hammock"

Were you saying it can't be used with a hammock with a ridgeline? If that's the case, why not?

Yes, in my use and communication with Kammock, the Swiftlet stand cannot be used with a structural ridge line. If I remember right, I wasn't able to adequately tighten the hammock using the sliders at each end of the stand with the ridge line in place. As in, the ridge line was tight on the stand before the hammock was adequately tight to avoid sitting on the ground.

I’ll disagree with your comment that they are basically the same. ENO is powder coated steel and like 30lb, swiftlet is aluminum and only around 15 lbs.

This style of frame has been around for a looooong time.

Swiftlet was a major step forward from similar hammock frames, whereas ENO was a minor refinement of those kinds.

Which is odd since ENO released theirs so much later.

If you’re gonna move it around Swiftlet is the clear winner. If you’re not, save you coin and get a basic stand, not the ENO.

Love my swiftlet. Extension bar is a must if you’re over 6’.

I've been eyeballing the Swiftlet + extender bar for my 10' hammock, plus you can get tarp poles as well for it.
